Each of these water-soluble urns is individually crafted by hand from a solid block of Himalayan Rock Salt over 250-million years old. Skilled artisans create the pleasing rounded barrel form and hollow out the centre to receive the ashes. Each one is uniquely different with the natural variegations of soft pinks making each one a work of art. The small size of this mini water-soluble urn makes it ideal for several people to participate in the final farewell of a departed loved one at a very special water burial.

The mini Athena urn has a capacity of 0.65-litres, so it is ideal for the repartition of the cremation remains between several people for an emotive eco-friendly water burial ceremony. When placed onto the surface of a body of water the urn will quickly sink down to the ocean, river or lake-bed, and dissolves completely within four hours of entering the water.
