At Cherished Urns, our handcrafted urns are individually created by expert artisans. The talented craftspeople on our team form unique urns from a variety of materials. We offer a wide selection of different styles and designs. Each one has fine details and we inspect them carefully before shipping.
What types of handcrafted urns are there?
We carry an unrivalled selection of quality urns lovingly crafted from different materials. Choose from our traditionally-styled brass and metal urns. Alternatively, we also carry teardrop urns which are very popular and look more like works of art than an urn. Or perhaps you would prefer a natural-looking wooden urn or casket.
We also offer biodegradable urns crafted from paper, Himalayan salt, cornstarch, and other materials.
What sizes do handcrafted urns come in?
Adult urns have a capacity of 200 cubic inches (suitable for an person weighting up to 14-stone), while double urns can hold up to 365 cubic inches. These are ideal for a larger person (up to 25 stone), or to keep the ashes of two special people together.
Child urns come in different sizes, from 41 cubic inches up to 200 cubic inches.
Additionally, we carry miniature urns and tealight urns which hold a small amount of ashes, about 3 cubic inches.

Ordering is easy. The design of our website makes selecting an urn a simple process. Take your time to browse through the different choices and styles of urns in the category you are looking for. When you have decided on the ideal urn in which to keep you loved one's ashes, give it a click and proceed to the checkout.
Are there various payment options?
Yes, on our secure payment page you can choose to pay with a credit card (Visa, Mastercard, or American Express), or a debit card. Alternatively, you can choose an express checkout with Paypal, Amazon Pay, or G Pay. You can even select to spread out your payments or pay later using Klarma. Don't fprget to include any discount code you may have.
When will my handcrafted urn arrive?
Standard delivery in the UK is free of charge, and your urn will arrive in 2-3 days. For a small additional fee you can select next-day delivery. We use various couriers who will coordinate a delivery window with you.
All of our urns come with a velvet bag within a presentation box. This ensures that they travel safely to arrive in perfect condition. Also, they provide the ideal place to safekeep your urn.
